Pekoppa Robot Plant from ThinkGeek
Talk to your plants – it’s good for you and for them. This one responds! www.thinkgeek.com
how do i stop getting pissed at people?
at school I hat seeing teens that are always like “omg I love this song have you heard it?”to their friends and then their friends will be like ” that song sucks” and then the teen will say ” well I don’t like it that much”. It just pains me to see this wall that teens have created against some trends or types of music. I like indie rock and Frank Sinatra and teens are always complaining about how old a song is after it only being out for three months. how could I get through it cause I hate seeing all of the kids that are robots to mainstream garbage.

Talking Robots with Chris McEwan
Interview with Chris McEwan, the illustrator whose collection of toy robots is on display in Hove Museum & Art Gallery. Chris discusses his enthusiasm for robots, and their influence upon his art. The exhibition, Robot Invasion!, runs at Hove Museum from 15 October 2011 to 21 February 2012. As the interview was filmed in a busy gallery with plenty of children around, the sound quality is poor in places. Please use the closed caption subtitles, which can be accessed via the CC button on the You Tube player.

Solar Bug: A robot that follows Light with Crawling Locomotion
Solar bug is a solar powered autonomous robot, this robot is a capable little robot that is powered entirely by solar energy, has light-sensing directional optics (eyes), and a pair of obstacle avoidance sensors. The pair of infrared detectors on the robot give it a very directed phototropic or light-seeking behavior, making it trace outlines around shadows, and be attracted to the brightest sources of light.
